In this blog post, I would like to take a moment to reminisce about the incredible Forman Mills Catalogue Photo Sessions. It was during this time that I had the privilege of working alongside my mentor, Joe Chielli from Church Street Studios , who had been the trusted photographer for Forman Mills since its inception under the leadership of Rick Forman. From 2011 until his passing in 2017, I had the honor of assisting Joe on numerous photo sessions.
Two years after Joe’s demise, I took on the monumental task of capturing all of Forman Mills’ catalogs through stills and video. This period marked an exhilarating chapter in my life, one that I continue to be immensely proud of to this day. From meticulously organizing casting calls within the studio to shooting both in-studio catalogues and on-location look books, I gained invaluable experience that transcends the boundaries of whether it’s a large corporation or a budding start-up.
These experiences have undoubtedly contributed to my ever-growing knowledge and expertise, equipping me with the skills necessary to handle any assignment, no matter the scale.
