Franklin Residency Pet Photography

I was hired by the Leasing Manager Celia Koerbler to cover Franklin Residency Pet Photography event .  They wanted to do something nice for their residence and thought of this idea.  They found me through google search and loved my work.

Seeing that it is September and kids are back to school, I thought blue would be fitting for this event.  I wanted the color to be bright and cheerful.

I arrived on location and set up my studio in the lobby.  Kim, owner of Bon Jour Pet Shop provided some treats samples for all the dogs, which I also used to gain each animals attention.  In addition to dogs posing for me on set, there was to my surprise one turtle and three cats.

I adore the challenge of photographing animals.  They are all so different. Some are hyper, others shy, and some that ham up the attention. Either way dogs love to eat.  There was one dog that was very picky about food.  If you have a dog like that, I would suggest bringing something they do like. Either case everything went smoothly.

I will be working with Bon Jour Pet Shop this coming year for the holidays.  Make sure to keep a look out for announcements.  If you sign up on my mailing list, I will mention this event in the near future.

And now for some of my favorites from this event.  For more visit the link below.  You can buy downloads and prints online!  You can also design your own greeting cards and mugs etc.
