Wrapping Up 2024
I can’t believe it’s December and we’re wrapping up 2024. This has been an incredible year for me, filled with personal and professional milestones. This past May, I proudly donned my cap and gown at Rutgers University, receiving my bachelor’s degree. My photography journey took exciting turns, focusing primarily on product and fashion catalogs, interspersed with professional branding photo shoots and headshots for corporate clients.
I also embraced my creative side, dedicating time to test shoots with agency models and experimenting with new concepts and lighting techniques. A highlight of the year was having a set of creative images published in Loop Light Magazine. While the political campaign posed challenges for many of us, I’m relieved it’s behind us now, allowing us to look forward and thrive in our businesses while cherishing the company of our loved ones.
As I look ahead to 2025, my main goal is to continue expanding my expertise in stop motion photography for product and fashion catalogs. I will maintain my offerings of headshots and branding sessions, as well as model and actor portfolios and pet portraits. However, my primary focus will remain on product photography with stop motion techniques, as I believe these areas are both lucrative and consistent.
Let’s be honest; once you get an excellent headshot from me, I might not see you again for five years or longer! Branding photography, on the other hand, is fantastic for those wanting a diverse visual presence on social media. If you’re interested in learning more about branding, I can provide additional insights. I have a dedicated section on my website with articles and resources to explore further.
Additionally, I’m excited to share that I’ve teamed up with a videographer to launch my YouTube channel. My plan is to film behind-the-scenes content, showcasing my interactions with subjects and my focus on lighting techniques. I recognize that my YouTube presence has been sporadic, and I’ve struggled with consistency. However, I’ve come to realize that I just need to be myself. I’m not looking to become overly technical or teach; rather, I prefer to dive in and do what I do best: creating captivating photographs that make my subjects—whether people or products—look interesting and desirable. So, keep an eye out for that!
As I prepare for 2025, I’m in the process of organizing creative days and coordinating my talented team of makeup artists, hairstylists, wardrobe stylists, videographers, editors, and assistants. It’s a lot of work, but I’m genuinely excited about releasing a series of behind-the-scenes videos on my YouTube channel next year.
I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who entrusted me with their photography needs this year and to those who referred clients to me. Your support means the world to me—without you, I wouldn’t have thrived this year. Your repeat business and referrals are invaluable, and I’m truly thankful for all the five-star reviews; they are incredibly helpful. And remember, when you return, I’m offering a 10% discount for my loyal clients.
Happy holidays and a joyful New Year! I hope to see you soon.
If you need anything before the year ends, I am grateful for your support! Also, if you’re interested, I have gift cards available for photo shoot sessions. You can purchase and use them to book a session or even email a gift to friends and family. Thank you!
