Warhol’s Silver Dog Toys

If you’re familiar with Andy Warhol’s creative space, you know about his silver pillows and that his studio was all silver on the inside. This inspiration led to my recent project, which I’ve titled “Warhol’s Silver Dog Toys,” involving my dog, Nina, and some unexpected accessories. My friend gifted me dog wigs, claiming they were one of Amazon’s top-selling items. Pretty funny, right?

Nina adores dressing up, and when I put the wig on her—I couldn’t help but think how much she resembled Warhol. With her striped shirt, the shimmering silver pillows popped into my mind, and I thought, “What if I added some silver dog toys to the mix?” The idea struck me as both playful and fitting, merging art with my love for my furry companion.

I absolutely adore the image I captured of Nina in her whimsical ensemble. I decided to submit it to a dog contest in an alternative category. Although I’ve never entered my work into a contest before, I figured it was worth a shot. Regardless of the outcome, I cherish this image and the joy it brings to my life.

If you’re interested in a creative session with your dog or even for yourself, feel free to reach out! I offer personal photo shoots and packages tailored for both dogs and humans, ensuring everyone enjoys a unique experience.
