With just two outfits and a bit of creativity, we captured a diverse range of looks that showcase the magic of neon. It’s as easy as 1-2-3, or should I say, as simple as potato! The Concept: Neon Fashion Editorial
Neon fashion is all about bold colors and striking visuals. The idea was to explore how different lighting techniques can drastically change the mood and feel of a photograph, even when using the same location. By playing with lens filters, gels, and varied lenses, we were able to create stunning effects that brought the editorial to life.
Location Selection
Choosing the right location is crucial for any photoshoot, and for this project, we opted for a versatile space that could enhance the neon aesthetic. A location with textured walls and interesting architectural features allowed us to experiment with shadows and highlights, maximizing our creative options without the need for an elaborate setup.
Outfits: Two Looks, Endless Possibilities
We featured two distinct outfits designed by the talented @majeedamonae_. Each outfit was carefully selected to complement the neon theme, ensuring that they not only stood out but also harmonized with our vibrant lighting techniques.
1. Look One: A bold, colorful ensemble that pops against darker backgrounds, perfect for showcasing high-energy shots.
2. Look Two: A more subdued yet sophisticated outfit that allowed for dramatic lighting contrasts, enhancing the overall mood of the shoot.
Lighting Techniques: Elevating the Visuals

– Lens Filters & Gels: Utilizing colored gels on your lights can instantly add a neon glow to your images. Experimenting with different colors can drastically change the vibe of your photos.
