Just yesterday, I wrapped up an exhilarating summer fashion editorial shoot that had been in the works for a month. The experience not only reignited my passion for fashion photography but also reinforced the importance of collaboration in bringing creative visions to life.

To kick off the project, I meticulously crafted a mood board that served as a guiding light for my talented team. I was fortunate enough to have access to a sailboat owned by a friend, which we utilized as a stunning prop at the marina in downtown Jersey City. The picturesque setting added a unique flair to our shoot, embodying the vibrant essence of summer.

I coordinated with a skilled makeup artist and our model to arrive early, allowing us to capture some intimate moments inside the boat as the makeup was applied. Meanwhile, I drove down with my fashion designer and videographer, ready to collaborate and create. I even took the opportunity to dabble in video myself, and plan to edit the behind-the-scenes moments captured by my videographer, that I’m currently editing for my YouTube channel. For now, the footage is available in my portfolio.

My ultimate goal is to continue producing photo sessions that blend on-location shoots with some in-studio work. There’s something magical about working in diverse environments, where the unpredictability of nature can transform a scene. For instance, when I noticed rain clouds rolling in, I viewed it as an opportunity to create moody, atmospheric shots. Utilizing my B10x Profoto light with a modifier, I was able to add a striking pop to the raw images, which are untouched by any filters or AI enhancements.

This experience reaffirmed a crucial truth in our industry: the value of a great team. A talented stylist, model, makeup artist, and lighting assistant are essential for a seamless shoot and impactful visuals. Together, we can make the creative process flow smoothly, allowing us to focus on what truly matters—bringing your brand’s vision to life.

I am eager to collaborate with brands that share a passion for creativity and storytelling. Based in Philadelphia, I am also willing to travel, ensuring that there are no limitations to where our creative journey can take us. With connections to casting directors and model agencies, I can help you find the best talent to elevate your brand.

If you’re interested in working together, let’s connect and create something extraordinary! Your vision deserves to be captured in the most beautiful and authentic way.
