Spring Beauty Shoot Inspiration
I’ve been in Philly for about 13 years now, and every spring, the flower show motivates me to want to create a spring beauty shoot inspiration. Each year, I leave with new ideas for set designs, but until now, I had never attempted to create a floral set. This time, I ordered some oversized flowers and crafted a vibrant backdrop for a beauty photo shoot.
Last month, I worked on an Eagles fashion shoot, where I designed a set featuring the plants and trees from my studio. I showcased two shades of green to represent the team’s home and away games. However, I realized I didn’t capture any close-ups of the incredible makeup the artist created. Wanting to highlight her fantastic work, I decided to focus on beauty shots for this new project.
I collaborated with two models: Julia, a stunning talent I discovered on Instagram, and Gemma, whom I met at a restaurant. Gemma, at 5’8″, has an amazing presence and needed some striking close-up shots. I’m also planning to develop a model portfolio for her.
This shoot went exceptionally well, and I can’t wait to share the behind-the-scenes video on YouTube. If it’s not available yet, it’s in the works! I invite you to sign up for my mailing list and subscribe to my channel—it truly helps as I aim to post one or two videos each month throughout 2025.
Currently, my videos feature music rather than technical commentary, as I believe the creative process is captivating enough on its own. However, I’ve received inquiries about photography lessons. While I haven’t formally created tutorials, I’m open to it! If my behind-the-scenes videos spark any questions or interests, please leave a comment or reach out. Your feedback could inspire future content!
I recently reviewed my YouTube analytics and was surprised to find that my audience is primarily men aged 35 to 60. As a female entrepreneur running my business for 19 years, I expected a more balanced audience. I’m curious about this demographic shift, but I’m thrilled to see over 1,000 views on some videos!
Returning to the beauty shoot, I envision this concept being perfect for a perfume or makeup line’s marketing campaign. If you love the images and want to collaborate, please reach out! I’m proud of the fantastic team I’ve built over the past year. Planning this shoot took significant effort, but I finally found the right crew to work with, and I’m excited about future creative projects.
