Pet Portraits in Studio and On location
The holidays are a great time to capture your beloved pet portraits in studio and on location. For this photo diary I would like to introduce you to my dog Nina. She is a great companion of mine and dog model. I adore directing her on set as to how to pose and where to look. I’m looking forward to doing the same with your pet or pets.
The studio as well as the city is our stage. The options are endless with possibilities. We can shoot during the day or at night. I find night shots to be interesting especially with all the Christmas lighting. If you want to keep your session in studio during the day, I can replicate the night look with stage lighting. When there is a will, there is always a way. You just have to think outside the box. I also encourage bring props and outfits. There’s something about dressing up your dog that never gets old. I always told myself if I ever got myself a dog I would dress it up and that is exactly what I do now that Nina is in my life. I also have props here at the studio just in case, such as antlers, bow-ties etc.
Best rule of thumb is to bring your pets favorite treats and toys, this way you can get their attention as well as put them at ease. Just like humans, animals get nervous. Some animals are completely camera shy and others are total hams.
I have two different packages which are One Pet and the other Two Pets. Both packages include all the images and a selection of your choice retouched. For more details and to book online CLICK HERE. Also keep in mind that my online gallery offers prints and customized holiday cards, which you can design yourself from the images I provide you with. It’s great feature.
