Need More Than Headshot?

I’ve come to realize that people need more than a headshots because its’ no longer enough. While they may suffice for some individuals looking to update their LinkedIn profiles or represent their current company, many people today are venturing into entrepreneurship or transitioning away from the corporate world. For these individuals, a simple headshot just won’t cut it. They need something more dynamic and authentic.

Let me give you a few examples. I recently worked with a client who specializes in skincare. To make her stand out, I incorporated her company’s colors of purple, green, and white into the shoot. We used a purple backdrop, integrated plants from my studio, and she wore a white lab coat. I also took photos of her using her products as well as modeling them in action shots.

In another instance, I had the pleasure of photographing a public speaker and writer. She had a love for the color red, and we had a blast incorporating it into her shoot. We aimed to capture her energetic, bubbly, and artistic style. The color red became the highlight of the entire photo session.

Lastly, I worked with a money manager who needed a range of photos. We started with traditional corporate shots in the studio, featuring a suit and tie against a light-grade background. Then, we moved on to outdoor shots to create a more friendly and approachable look for business casual situations.
