Promotional Images for Performing Arts

This past weekend I worked with musician Regi Myrix , to create promotional images for his music career.  I always suggest to my clients my model portfolio packages,  ,which consist of head shots, 3/4 length, and full body shots . These packages are for individuals only and work well for obviously model portfolio, lifestyle images, or even dating profiles . If you need group portraits contact me for a customized quote.

For styling I always suggest to clients to bring a variety of clothing from their closet and help select which outfits I feel would work best.  If you desire more than what your closet provides, I can arrange for a personal stylist or perhaps borrow clothing from a designer to use for your session.  Majority of the time the client brings their own clothing, but again anything else can be arranged .

Regi brought some suits and dress shirts and I just adored the idea of him wearing all black and then an all white suit for the second look.  For the lighting I decided to create a presence of a stage and spot light.

When working with my subjects, I prefer if they move around and to have fun on the set.  I find it helps get the blood flowing and any nervous energy they may have at first to dissipate.

Regi was a gem to work with.  He was very animated and comfortable being in front of the camera – he is after all a performer;  how could I possibly expect any less.
