Model Photography – Eat My Heart Out
Jumper designed by Sam Julian, modeled by Arielle Kessler.
Arielle is an inspiring young lady who longs for modeling jobs within modeling agencies. I met Arielle on New Years Eve and asked if she ever modeled before where she said she would like to be a model and was interested in my model photography.
Arielle’s personality is edgy, fun, positive, youthful, and outgoing. While keeping her personality in mind, I recommended this blue jumper designed by Sam Julian. I like to keep a variety of outfits and accessories in my prop closet for my sessions. I also suggest models to bring clothing from their own closet: casual street attire, upscale, and nightlife attire as well.
It is essential to keep model portfolios fresh and up to date. As a result of you losing weight, changing your hairstyle, or updating your appearance in any way you must update your portfolio.
I have a prefered list of makeup artist – however, if you’re comfortable doing your own makeup that is fine. Although if you are not I highly recommend we hire one for you.
This session with Arielle would be perfect for e-commerce fashion apparel for nightlife, lingerie, or artsy fashion lines. Not to say I would limit her to just that, but this session feels perfect for that demographic.
She’s edgy personality shines in these images and is not afraid to take a risk and to express her emotions. I adore her bravery to be bold and not to care what others think and clearly has a talent most would fear to express so openly.
Arielle is very natural in front of the camera, follows direction well, and poses in ways that I find inspiring. This natural way about her that is not stiff or shy, which is so important for a model to understand. It’s okay to be a little nervous at first; that is natural for anyone modeling for the first time, too. Thing is if you can’t pose for the photographer how are you going to pose at a casting call?
